The Front Runner

We are waiting for you

All is old, nothing is new

Only the sky

The sky was red

But now it is blue

Yet still, there is no sign of you

Where are you?

Where are you church of God?

Who else can pass the baton except you?

Who else can start this race except you?

Hear our cry you bride

Hear our cry oh church of God

The One you worship

They torment his people

Heartlessly and soullessly

In your midst

Widows and children are slain

Yet you remain quiet

When, when will you open your mouth?

When oh church of God?

I see the scars of Christ

I see the scars of Steven

I see the scars of Paul

But where are your scars?

Your gospel is not yet complete

Without our freedom

Your race will not be finished

We are waiting for you

All is old, nothing is new

Only the sky

The sky was red

But now it is blue

Yet still, there is no sign of you

Where are you?

Where are you church of God?

Who else can pass the baton except you?

Who else can start this race except you?

Hear our cry you bride

Hear our cry oh church of God

The One you worship

They torment his people

Heartlessly and soullessly

In your midst

Widows and children are slain

Yet you remain quiet

When, when will you open your mouth?

When oh church of God?

I see the scars of Christ

I see the scars of Steven

I see the scars of Paul

But where are your scars?

Your gospel is not yet complete

Without our freedom

Your race will not be finished
