Friendship And Politics

My Childhood friend

Oh what a day

First it was Simba

Then it was Dumiso

Now it’s you

You are welcome

You are welcome my childhood friend

Let us play like we used to

Let us look for berries

And when we find them

Me and you, we must share them

Care for me

Care for me like you used to

Your friends,

They killed my brothers and sisters

They burnt my father`s house

And they took my mother`s field

But come, come my childhood friend

Come let’s pick some berries

Let’s bring them to my mother

Let’s hunt some dear

Let’s bring the meat to my father

They will forgive you

They will pronounce their blessings

And your future generations will not be cursed
